Priority Admission Service

Our Priority Admission Service (PAS) provides direct admission for DVA and privately insured patients requiring cardiac and respiratory care.

If you are experiencing acute chest pain or cardiac related symptoms such as chest pain, tightness, or discomfort and/ or shortness of breath, please seek assistance by calling an Ambulance on 000 or contacting our Priority Admission Service (PAS) at 1800 668 681 (free call).

Our hospital access coordinator will assess your symptoms through Triage and determine whether you can be admitted directly to our Critical Care Unit (CCU) or if you should attend a public Emergency Department based on your clinical condition and our available capacity at the time of your call.

Upon arrival, our onsite Medical Officers will conduct an immediate assessment and admit you to our CCU. Our Medical Officers provide 24/7 onsite care and following admission, you will be under the supervision of an on-call Cardiologist.

This service benefits from direct access to our highly renowned Cardiac Catheter Laboratories (CCL)and Cardiothoracic surgical services.
